Re-Energize your Practice for Growth and Sustainability

New Products and Services

Whether you are an architectural design firm or a construction management company, one of the best ways to differentiate yourself is by offering products and services that set you apart from your competition. Join this DESIGN [realized] Event to learn how two remarkable firms met these challenges:

  • The Beck Group will demonstrate a decade of experience in delivering projects as an Integrated Enterprise: a single source for all building services - development, architectural design, estimating, and construction management - with a shared purpose and bottom line.
  • Lucchesi Galati Architects developed a unique practice and approach to client needs by combining Sustainability, Architecture and Sociology to create exceptionally valuable new service offerings.

Leave this event with ideas for identifying unmet needs in your market place and formulating a plan to develop new product and service offerings.

New Practice Model based on “learning” and “living” with integration of built, social, and natural environments.

About the Speaker:

Raymond J. Lucchesi, AIA, LEED AP, is the founding Principal of Lucchesi Galati. He has over 35 years of experience in the profession of architecture with an emphasis on arid region and sustainable design. Ray received his professional architectural degree, with an emphasis in arid region and passive-solar design, from Arizona State University.  He is registered in several states and NCARB Certified. He served as the founding director, and a professor and instructor at the UNLV School of Architecture for 23 years. Ray served as the President of AIA Las Vegas and AIA Nevada component chapters, and was awarded the Silver Medal from AIA Nevada, the highest honor given to an individual architect in Nevada for outstanding contributions to the profession and the citizens of the state.

He also provides consulting and facilitation services to major organizations in the identification and advancement of their sustainable agenda and programs, including the integration of the organization’s social and cultural agendas. Ray is currently involved in several projects seeking LEED Certification, including the Las Vegas Springs Preserve Desert Living Center and Garden, which received LEED Platinum Certification. Ray is a founding member of the Nevada Chapter of the USGBC, AIA COTE, and the Las Vegas NAIOP Sustainability Committee.

The firm is currently developing a new practice model based on “learning” and “living” in contrast to “earning” and “working” – with a proposition that offers the integration of the built, social, and natural environments into a holistic “place” of meaning.

Integrated Project Delivery:
Virtual Design to Construction

Program Series

The Deep Dive into New Products & Services is the second of our three-part DESIGN [realized] Integrated Project Delivery: Virtual Design to Construction (IPD/VDC) Summer Event Series.  This program explores how successful designers, builders, and building owners achieve significant project goals through the best use of process and technology such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), construction management and collaboration tools.

Our Inside Stories begin with an exploration of a project's architectural design parti. Project teams will share winning techniques to adopt, losing techniques to avoid, and other key experience gained as they have implemented IPD processes with VDC methodologies.

Deep Dive sessions provide the best current thinking on legal, management, and technological issues associated with IPD/VDC projects, as well as new product and service ideas.
