Understanding BIM from a Project Managers Perspective

Project managers are often expected to understand BIM. Yet the process and implementation of BIM is continuing to evolve. This session will explore how to look at BIM from the Project Managers perspective. It will explore the components of a BIM project, how different levels of BIM implementation impact the project deliverables, and what clients often expect on a BIM project.

This program will also review industry terms related to BIM. It will explore the various BIM authoring tools and how they affect your project outcomes.

Speaker Vincent Poon will also identify some of the challenges he has encountered and lessons learned in his 15+ years in the AEC Industry.
